An exciting leading infrastructure fund are looking to welcome an Accounts Payable within their Finance team. The company not only operates worldwide, and manage tens of billions in equity, but they are growing significantly and have just launched a financial transformation to facilitate further growth!
The purpose of this role is to support the Finance team by running an effective accounts payable and expense process, as well as making sure all financial reporting is accurate and up to date. If you have ambitions to grow and develop your career further and study for the ACCA/CIMA etc, you will have the opportunity to do so once you’re settled in.

The purpose of this role is to support the Finance team by running an effective accounts payable and expense process, as well as making sure all financial reporting is accurate and up to date. If you have ambitions to grow and develop your career further and study for the ACCA/CIMA etc, you will have the opportunity to do so once you’re settled in.
The main responsibilities for this Accounts Payable role are as follows:
- Be responsible for running the Accounts Payable function and ensuring that all expenses are paid and accounted for in a timely manner through the use of multiple systems
- Prepare the monthly bank journals and reconciling all bank balances on a weekly basis
- Oversee the expense approvals and ensure the correct postings and recharges of expenses through the use of Concur
- Making bank payments and assisting with the preparation of raising and processing invoices and Making bank payments
- Posting the journals for accruals, prepayments, fixed assets
- Cash Management – making sure all bank accounts are sufficiently funded at all times
- Prior Accounts Payable experience within a professional or financial services organisation
- An interest in studying for ACCA, CIMA or equivalent (study support provided)
- Be organised and is able to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Be willing to learn and develop new skills
- Knowledge of SUN GL or equivalent is desirable
