Role Overview & Responsibilities

Tradecore International is a successful, dynamic and forward thinking business with ambitious growth plans for 2023.

We specialise in Global Procurement, Sourcing and Supply of a vast range of equipment from all around the world. Our international client base is very diverse, serving customers in Mining, Oil & Gas, Construction, Manufacturing, Engineering.

As we continue to expand, we are currently looking for 2 x Junior Buyers to join our Procurement Team. The successful people will be involved in procuring and sourcing a wide range of equipment from our network of suppliers all over the world. Training will be provided.

The Role:-

· Supporting the Client Account Managers in a buying capacity

· Sourcing a wide range of products and equipment from all over the world that match the clients technical and commercial requirements.

· Building strong and beneficial relationships with suppliers in the UK and globally.

· Obtaining competitive pricing from suppliers and negotiating further discount where possible.

· Evaluating and selecting vendors on credibility, pricing and technical criteria.

· Ensuring technical specifications of the client’s requirement have been met

· Acting quickly on urgent and high priority procurement requests from customers

· Making regular follow ups on requests for quotes (RFQ) with suppliers

· Consistently achieving personal and team targets and KPI’s

Skills Required: -

· Flexible approach to workload and the drive to go the extra mile

· Ability to regularly negotiate pricing over the phone

· Confident and clear communication (English is essential)

· Highly organized with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively

· Positive attitude and be able work well within a team or individually

· Capability to work under pressure and think your feet

· Working experience using Microsoft Office ie Word, Excel and Outlook (essential)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
