Role Overview & Responsibilities

TSR Ipswich Ltd are looking for Traffic Management Operatives to work in Ipswich, as well as the outskirts of Ipswich, for a very reputable and ever growing traffic management company.

Candidates applying for this role must have experience or qualifications in one or more of the below positions:

• Trainee Operative
• M1 / M2 Operative
• M3 / M4 / M5 Operative
• M6 Supervisor
• 12C Operative / 12C Supervisor
• 12AB Operative / 12AB Forman / 12AB IPV Operative / 12AB IPV Foreman
• SLG (If haven't got this & are willing to be trained, we can assist)
• TTMBC Qualification (1 day course)
• CSCS Card
• Must have TTMBC

As a Traffic Management Operative, your duties will consist of the following:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Reading and interpreting CAD traffic management drawings
• Setting up traffic lights
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials
• Risk Assessments
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects

Other Requirement

• Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check
• Right to Work in UK Team Player Qualifications
• Full UK Driving licence

Pay varies depending on qualifications and experience
