Butchery Picker / Packer

Role Overview & Responsibilities

· Job Title: Butchery Picker/Packer

· Hours of Work:

o Permanent, full time (40 hours per week)

o Sunday 4.00pm – 1.00am (with an hour of breaks)

o Monday – Thursday 2.00pm – 11.00pm (with an hour of breaks)

· Salary: £24,200 per annum

· Bonuses: £2600 per annum

· Holidays: 25 Annual Days + 3 Bank Holidays (New Year's Day, Christmas Day & Boxing Day)

· Description: A valued member of butchery team operating a 24/7 butchery facility. After the qualified butchers have produced high quality fresh and frozen meat produce, the Butchery Picker / Packer will work in a fast-paced environment picking and packaging orders placed by customers for onward delivery by logistics team

· Essential Requirement: No previous butchery experience necessary

· Desirable Requirement: Food Safety Level 2, previous picking and packing experience, ability to work in a cold environment
