Role Overview & Responsibilities

Tynrhyd Retreat offers four and five-star self-catering holiday accommodation just outside Devil’s Bridge, Ceredigion.

A beautiful location set on a private estate of 13 acres of grounds consisting of the large barn and a farmhouse which can sleep from one to fifty guests.

Our housekeepers are really important to us! Tynrhyd wouldn’t be what it is without our fantastic team! We are looking to expand our team right now, are you the perfect person?!

Housekeeper Job Responsibilities:

• Performs cleaning duties in all guest areas and back of house with attention to detail and to the highest standards.
• Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service.
• Ensures housekeeping departmental standards are followed.
• Punctuality and reliability are a must
• Contributes to maintaining inventory of necessary supplies.
• Reports necessary maintenance items to management straight away.
• Follows departmental policies and procedures.
• Follows all safety and sanitation policies.
• Assists the team when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
• Performs additional duties as needed.

Work Hours/Days:

Typical working pattern, Mon & Fri between 9am-5pm. Additional hours and days maybe required/available depending on demand through summer season.

Please know we are 8 miles outside of Aberystwyth, so being able to drive and access to a car is essential.

Competitive hourly rate with the option of a zero hours contract or self-employed.

Housekeeper Qualifications / Skills:

• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strong attention to detail is a must
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Positive can-do attitude
• Highly responsible, trustworthy and reliable
• Ability to work alone & cohesively as part of a team

Experience:

Previous housekeeping experience is a plus.

Salary: £11.00-£11.50 per hour
