Role Overview & Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at the Sandbourne Suite. The Sandbourne Suite is an admissions unit for a variety of surgical specialties including Orthopaedic, Urology, Vascular, Colo-rectal, General surgery and Breast . The department operates between the hours of 07:00-21:00 Monday- Friday.

We are looking for a motivated person with exceptional communication skills for a position on the reception desk who has a passion to deliver an outstanding service to our patients. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential requirements, as well as the ability to work as part of a team. This is a full time role (37.5hrs) and the successful candidate would begin their shift at 07:00 AM when the unit opens.

The Reception staff are the first point of contact for the patients coming in for Surgery. The successful candidate would be required to provide a welcoming receptionist service to all patients, which would include checking that the patient details are correct and admitting them onto the system.

NHS experience is preferred, but not essential.

Base Location: Bournemouth
