Assistant Learning Technologist

Grade 5 (£25,285 - £28,929 p.a.)

This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

Do you want to join a growing team dedicated to enhancing the learning experiences of our students? Are you passionate about supporting colleagues in using digital technology in teaching at a world-leading university?

The University of Leeds is one of the top 135 universities in the world. We have a truly global community, with more than 39,000 students from 170 different countries and over 9,000 staff of 100 different nationalities. Established in 1904, we have a strong tradition of academic excellence, reflected in first-class student education, along with world-leading research that has a real impact around the globe.

We are looking for a digitally focussed professional to join the Digital Education Enhancement function to help ensure that students benefit from an outstanding educational experience, underpinned and enhanced by innovative sector-leading digital resources, pedagogies and technologies.

In this rich and varied role, you will work in one of our Faculty-based teams to support innovative solutions to enhance the on-campus learning experience in partnership with key stakeholders and team members, including the development of interactive learning objects and multimedia.

This role will also involve providing trusted front-line support, using your expertise to troubleshoot issues and offer guidance and advice, and collaborating with others to deliver digital enhancement projects.

The successful candidate will have a technical aptitude to pick up and advise upon a variety of learning technologies quickly. We are seeking someone with experience of using learning technologies to create high-quality learning experiences with a creative approach to problem-solving. You will also have the ability to persuade, influence and build trust with others.
