Role Overview & Responsibilities
opportunities working on projects and supporting the delivery of services across Libraries, Museums and Galleries. Initially available on a fixed term basis ¿ a key aspect of the role is to capture proof of concept of creating bespoke student employment opportunities within a cross-professional and mixed-skill setting, so that this can be applied to other areas of the directorate, with possibility of a contract extension after the initial period.This is an incredibly exciting time to join the University of Liverpool. With a new Vice Chancellor joining the University, the Libraries, Museums, and Galleries (LMG) have a central role in delivering on the university¿s regional, national, and global ambitions. With our internationally significant collections, expert staff, and strong track record of research and learning services, the university¿s libraries, museums, and galleries are well positioned to meet the changing needs of our users.
Working hours will be 35 hours per week including regular weekend and evening shifts, roughly equivalent to 2 x half days at the weekend and 2 x evenings per month.
The post is available on fixed term basis from 1 June 2023 until 30 September 2024 initially.
