Role Overview & Responsibilities
Applications are invited for a Researcher to join the Institute for Ethics in AI on a fixed-term basis for 6 months, to start as soon as possible.
You will provide research support and software development for a joint project between the Institute for Ethics and AI and Accenture.
The postholder will manage their own research under the direction of senior colleagues, program a software prototype to identify and visualize bias in hiring algorithms, analyse and present data, contribute to research publications and group discussions and represent the research group externally.
The postholder is required to hold a Bachelorβs Degree in Computer Science or a closely related subject. They must also possess sufficient knowledge of their discipline, have the ability to manage their own research activities, and have experience in a number of Data Science, Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning/ Deep Learning or other Artificial Intelligence domains and proven experience in the application of these technologies to real-world problems. They should also have proven experience in machine-learning related tools, languages and frameworks, a passion for Responsible AI and excellent communication skills.
