Role Overview & Responsibilities

Admissions Manager

The postholder will be responsible for the delivery of a professional, digital first, proactive centralised admissions service at Ulster to prospective students, Faculties, Schools and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the University¿s recruitment targets. This will include leading the efficient management and continuous improvement of the service with a focus on the provision of an excellent applicant experience. The postholder will be responsible for contributing to the strategy, policy and processes for admissions and for ensuring that fair and consistent admissions policies are developed and applied.
The postholder will have specific portfolio based responsibilities whilst working flexibly across the service to fulfil business need. They will maintain a strong focus on all application types including UCAS and Direct entry and, apply their knowledge and understanding of the UCAS system and the MaSN requirements upon differing areas of the portfolio. The postholder will be required to provide accurate and timely numerical and statistical information on MaSN and non MaSN under their remit to the Head of Admissions and, in turn, advise on potential impact and approaches in light of this data.
This is a permanent full-time position. Salary: £44,737 - £53,384 per annum.
