Position: Butcher/Slaughterman/woman

Responsibilities:

• Perform skilled butchery tasks such as cutting, trimming, deboning, and preparing meat products according to specifications
• Operate and maintain butchery equipment and tools
• Ensure adherence to strict hygiene and safety standards in the workplace
• Contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the meat processing facility
• Work collaboratively with a team of professionals to meet production targets and maintain product quality
• Follow all animal welfare protocols and handle animals with care and compassion (for slaughtermen)

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a butcher or slaughterman
• In-depth knowledge of meat cuts, portioning, and preparation techniques
• Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
• Excellent knife skills and manual dexterity
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to animal welfare and ethical practices (for slaughtermen)
