Role Overview & Responsibilities

Children’s Residential Support Worker / Wigan

Currently looking for those who want to develop within a support worker role, joining a 4 bedded service that provides support for children and young people with EBD and challenging behaviours.

Location: Wigan

Duties:

• Work in a residential care home for 4 young people with EBD and challenging behaviours
• Work within the staff team to ensure the service offers OFSTED standard support
• To deliver the best possible outcomes for the young people in your care, within a caring, homely environment.
• Support in the community and at the residential care home
• Promote relationships between staff, young people and the community
• Domestic chores around the home such as cooking and cleaning

Pay and Hours:

• Shifts: 2 sleeps followed by 4 shifts off
• Full time permanent position
• Salary - £26,000 to £28,000

Requirements:

• Some experience within childcare, residential childcare or personal experience!
• Drivers essential
• Friendly, personable and eager to learn!
