Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Butcher to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for the craft of butchery and be knowledgeable in the art of breaking down large cuts of meat into smaller, more manageable portions. The successful candidate will also be comfortable using a variety of tools and equipment to process meat, as well as possess strong customer service skills. We are looking for someone who is committed to providing high-quality products and services to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Cut, trim, and prepare meat for sale.
• Follow safety protocols when handling sharp tools and knives.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
• Understand the various cuts of meat and how to prepare them.
• Understand the proper storage and handling of meat products.
• Advise customers on cooking methods and recipes.
• Keep records of sales and inventory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £27,000.00 per year
