Please note: Overtime is mandatory when required and paid at time and a half.
Job Description: As aAuto and Heavy Equipment Receiver, you will:
- Receive, process, locate and release all cargo as it enters and leaves the Port of Southampton
- Produce clear and accurate lists detailing the cargo for export on each vessel
- Provide excellent customer service to all customers
- Liaise with other departments to ensure the receiving and issue processes are completed in accordance with the SOP’s.
- Plan space requirements for export and import cargo in all allocated compounds and storage areas.
Background and Experience
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Good MS Office skill - i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook
