Role Overview & Responsibilities

The role

No Wrong Door is a nationally recognised innovative programme working with young people with a range of complex needs who are on the edge of care.

No Wrong Door launched in Warrington on April 2021. The Lighthouse integrates outreach support, residential care, foster care, speech and language support, mental health support and the police in a single hub.

We have an exciting opportunity for the right person to join a highly skilled, multi-disciplinary team of professionals as an Edge of care/ Residential worker.

Warrington Borough Council have adopted a Systemic practice model where relationships with young people and their families is key.

Our workers will stick with the young person throughout their journey with The Lighthouse and beyond offering support at their most difficult time.

This is a challenging role that will be suited to someone who is motivated, committed, resilient and flexible.

The post is a dual role where you will work in the residential home as part of a 24/7 rota including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins alongside having a small caseload of young people and their families that you will support in the community.

Along with a competitive salary you will be paid enhancements, sleep in and mileage allowances.

The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
