Role Overview & Responsibilities

Job purpose

· To assist the Director of MIS in ensuring the accuracy of student, curriculum and funding data so that all College performance reports and data returns (to external funding bodies) are valid and timely.

· To effectively manage staff, systems and procedures to achieve this

Key responsibilities

§ To effectively lead and manage staff, systems and procedures relating to student records

· Maintain a full and current knowledge of the funding methodology for all of the funding agencies.

· Supporting the liaison with external bodies in relation to information or funding requirements, including but not limited to the ESFA, LCRCA and GMCA.

· Ensuring data compliance with employers, funding organisations, subcontractors and other stakeholders

· Managing and reviewing office administration and systems

· Supporting, coaching and developing team members to contribute to the wider objectives of the college ensuring that all staff have an appropriate understanding of funding rules.

· Ensure data flows provide accurate and timely reporting of information including the enrolment, withdrawal and transfer of learners in accordance with funding and audit requirements.

· Follow up any actions identified through validation processes.

· Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders

· Support the curriculum planning process

· Monitor compliance with standards to the MIS Service Level Agreement.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary contract

Salary: Up to £34,414.00 per year
