Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are seeking skilled and dedicated electricians to join our team for a new build housing project in Royston. This is an excellent opportunity for electricians who are looking for stability and the potential for a long-term career with our company.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with local and national regulations
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure efficient project completion
• Perform electrical inspections and testing to ensure systems are functioning properly
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement appropriate solutions
• Adhere to safety standards and protocols at all times

Requirements:

• Valid electrician's license/certification
• Proven experience as an electrician in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Types: Temporary contract, Full-time
Contract length: 2 months

Salary: £20.00-£23.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Royston: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• electrical: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
• CSCS (preferred)
