Apprentice - Recreation Assistant

Starting salary £19641 per annum (£10.18 per hour).

2 year fixed term contracts. 37 hours per week on a shift rota to include evenings, weekends and bank holidays

Based at Alive Downham, Downham Market

We have exciting opportunities for you to join our Alive West Norfolk Teams if you are keen to develop a career within the leisure industry. You will be able to gain practical experience in our Centre alongside completing the level 2 Leisure Team Member qualification, the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification and the AQA Swim Teach Qualification.

You must have GCSE grades 4-9 (or equivalent) in Maths and English with a genuine interest in the sport and fitness industry. You will have a competent standard of swimming to be able to pass a swimming test at interview. You must have good communication skills with confidence in dealing with members of the public and have good time management skills and an adaptable approach to work hours and duties.

Appointment will be made subject to a satisfactory criminal record check through the Disclosure and Barring Service.
