Role Overview & Responsibilities

Our hospital is a privately owned practice which prides itself on providing excellent customer service. *HOURS OF OPERATION: Monday-Friday 8am-6pm, 1st & 3rd Saturdays 9am-2pm*

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Excellent phone etiquette.
-Typing skills required.
-Computer knowledge required; comfortable with desktop applications such as Microchip Word and Outlook.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
-Significant experience with basic office functions in a busy office environment.
-Previous exceptional customer service experience, focused on establishing and maintaining client rapport.

PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS:
-Flexible in attitude and work habits.
-Possess a team-oriented mindset
-Exceptional Communication Skills
-Dependable
-Quickly learn the meaning of specific medical terminology used
-Perform basic computer skills, type 30 words per minute.
-Physical Effort: Work requires lifting and carrying records and food/pet products up to 40 lbs.; requires sitting and standing for extended periods of time.
-Working conditions: May be exposed to unpleasant odors, noises and animal feces/urine. May be exposed to bites, scratches and contagious diseases.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
