ABOUT WILKINSON SCHOOL

● One-of-a-kind school on the coast near Half Moon Bay, CA, is searching for one highly-skilled, energetic and experienced Kindergarten teacher for the upcoming,
2023-2024 school year.

● Small school environment: enrollment of 45-55 JK-8th grade students in four classrooms, each class composed of 2 or 3 consecutive grade levels

● Our commitment to maintaining small classroom sizes helps staff to build strong relationships with students, and facilitates an education that best suits the strengths and needs of each individual student

JOB SUMMARY:
● Full time for elementary classroom -Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten
● Core classroom teacher between daily 7:45a-3:45p daily
● Responsible for leading and planning curriculum and daily academic activities
● Report Cards (4 x/year) and teacher conferences (2 x year)
● Attend staff meeting every Friday
● Plan and attend field trips and weekly hikes
● Contribute and participate in various school events throughout the year including Open

Houses.

QUALIFICATIONS:
● Must be highly personable, and have a welcoming presence
● Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (2+years of teaching experience preferred).
● Experience teaching students in early childhood or in an elementary school
● Excellent communication skills, including with parents and children, and strong organization skills
● Experience with Google docs or Google Classroom
● Value strong relationships with each student and staff member

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
