Role Overview & Responsibilities
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Warehouse & Distribution team at Witter Towbars Ltd in Deeside. As part of the Horizon Global group, we are a leading global automotive manufacturer and retailer, operating worldwide. The Role
4 Day Working Week (4 days out of 5, Monday to Friday)
This role is a great opportunity for an ambitious Warehouse Operative, to pick, pack & distribute customer orders, in a fast paced automotive industry. As a member of our friendly and energetic team we are looking for an engaging personality to build rapport with existing team members, to provide the best possible customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Picking, packing & dispatching of customer orders.
- Handling, checking and booking in goods.
- Operate FLT and Machinery effectively and safely in a fast paced environment.
- Accuracy is essential, along with the ability to self-check your own work.
- Checking & maintaining of equipment within the warehouse.
- Daily housekeeping duties within the warehouse.
- A good level of Health & Safety knowledge to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ability to work as part or a team or on your own when necessary.
- Offer suggestions on how to continually improve the warehouse processes.
- Undertake cycle counts and annual stocktakes.
To be considered for this role you must:
- Be able to work flexibly in a team in a fast-paced environment where every day is different.
- Be able to think practically and solve problems.
- Ability to work with computer systems (particularly WMS).
- Some previous warehouse experience preferred, however, good work ethic essential.
