Role Overview & Responsibilities

Woodland Road Surgery is a friendly, successful and popular GP surgery situated in Northfield, Birmingham. We pride ourselves on being patient led and our position as one of the most highly regarded surgeries in Birmingham based on patient feedback.

We are currently seeking suitably experienced candidates to join our expanding reception team in supporting care for over 6000 registered patients. This experience could come from any public facing role, for example you might previously have worked in retail or hospitality, all we ask is for candidates to be excellent communicators who are comfortable and confident when dealing with the public and our patients. Similarly applications would be welcomed from those with directly transferrable NHS experience.

Other key attributes would be reliability, punctuality, attention to detail, understanding confidentiality, comfortable in the use of a variety of IT systems and an ability to work on your own initiative while adhering to practice policies and procedures.

Candidates will have an allocated shift pattern but will be expected to be flexible in line with the changing needs of the practice and be available to work at any time Monday - Friday between the hours of 7.30am and 7pm.
