In the hospitality sector it’s hard to find a job with such attractive working hours. Our Kitchen service times have changed and so are offering a position in our fast paced kitchen with a fun team and a good work/life balance

Our Food Service times are:
Monday - Saturday 11am-7pm
Sunday 11am-5pm

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and hardworking Chef, who takes pride in their work and has a good eye for detail to join our Team at Yolo Ponteland.

The desired candidate will:

• Approach food in a creative way
• Have the ability to work well un-supervised
• Have a positive & ‘team player’ attitude
• Have great communication skills
• Have experience to deliver volume with consistency and to a high standard in a fast paced environment
• Have excellent personal hygiene standards
• Have excellent planning and organising skills
• Have a strong willingness to learn

Job Duties:

• Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards
• Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment
• Restock items as needed throughout the shift
• Checking deliveries and stock rotation
• Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards
• Recording food temperatures

You will be provided with online and on the job training, discounted meals and company discount after 12 weeks service, valid to use in all our venues which includes, STACK Seaburn, Yolo Townhouse, The Muddler and Destination 1850.

Salary: £10.20 per hour
