At YPrime, we help our clients in the pharma and biotech industries to collect data from patients using mobile devices, assign patients to study treatment groups, and dispense clinical trial drugs and supplies using web apps. We're supporting life-altering research, one project at a time.

YPrime's IT team is looking for a Production Support Engineer to maintain and administer Windows Servers, Server clusters, Azure, and to support our delivery team's deployments to development, validation, UAT, and production environments. You'll be based remotely or in our Sandwich – Kent office.

- 2+ years of related experience
- Detailed knowledge of SQL Server administration
- Detailed knowledge Azure
- An understanding of scalable computing systems, data structures, and algorithms
- An innate proactivity – to learn, to gather information, to anticipate problems
- Strong analytical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
- A strong sense of personal accountability
- A commitment to quality
Have these things too? Even better!
- Experience in the Life Science industry
- Knowledge of SQL and PowerShell scripting
Here are some more details about the job:
- You'll maintain and administer individual Windows servers and server clusters
- You'll support our IRT and eCOA Delivery team's deployments to development, validation, UAT, and production environments
- You'll assist customer care and project teams with issue navigation and resolution
- You'll assist delivery teams with custom monitoring needs, data issues, and troubleshooting
- You'll maintain and administer server virtualization environments
- You'll respond to user issues and requests for assistance (Tickets, phone, email)
- You'll maintain related system configurations and documentation in accordance with YPrime's SOPs and Work Instructions
- You'll design and implement Azure automation tasks
- You'll design and implement network and server security posture
- You'll design and implement backup and recovery best practices
- You'll design and implement best practices for infrastructure maintenance and monitoring
