Warehouse Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Zebra Food LTD is a growing vegan retail company based in London SW8, specializing in providing high-quality plant-based products to our customers. We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for packing orders and doing inventory for the goods sold via online shops. This will include creating shipping labels with correct information of customers, quality control, labelling of all boxes, carefully packing products inside boxes, preparing boxes for the courier collection and assisting with inventory control, liaising with the marketing team for the creation of listing and alerts. The employee will be reporting directly to the warehouse manager.

• Receiving and processing incoming stock and materials
• Picking and filling orders from stock
• Packaging and shipping orders
• Maintaining inventory records
• Operating manual handling
• Keeping the warehouse clean and organized
• Daily update and report of the stock levels

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment
• Ability to lift heavy items.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes cold (freezer) environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Working Hours:

• Wednesday to Sunday
• 1pm to 9pm

Salary:

Up to £26,000 based on experience.

Please note that this position involves working in a cold environment (freezer) and candidates must be able to tolerate the cold for extended periods of time.
