Job Overview

An all-rounder personable person, comfortable around people. The role require meeting and greeting, taking orders, occasional back house duties such as cleaning the room at the end of the shift or washing the dishes. Experience in hospitality, preferable in a waiter’s role. The café is open from 12 to 12 every day of the week and two shifts are available for a bank of waiters.

Main Responsibilities

• Welcome and escort customers to their seating with the menu.
• Take orders while making sure of the dietary requirements and allergies.
• Collect, verify, make and serve customer orders.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and take additional orders.
• Remove used dishes, glasses, and silverware.
• Prepare bills and deliver them to customers upon request.
• Process payments and return receipt and/or change to customers.
• Be familiar and on top of the menu items, offers, specials …
• Set the tables before opening and after each customer.
• Clean, mob, hoover, dust and other cleaning before opening time, during and at the end of each day.
• Update the stock levels sheet daily at the end of each day.
• Make sure all stock is topped daily.

Part-time hours: 16 per week

Salary: £10.00 per hour
