Role Overview & Responsibilities

Pay rate: Β£11.50 per hour with an increase after 12 weeks.
Shifts: Various - This role will be occasional shifts when requested by the client. The role is best suited for someone who is retired, looking for a second job or students as this will be a 0 hour contract. You nwill receive ramp training.

As the first or last point of contact on a customer's journey, you'll be assisting the customers in the station with queries and offering assistance as when required at Reading station. Helping the public to ensure they understand where to go during their journey, help them in and around the station and providing excellent customer care!

You will be involved in....
  • Supporting with ramp assistants on the platforms
  • Supporting customers needing assistance
  • Ensuring the safety of the station environment
  • Providing a friendly and personable service

Please note a zero-alcohol tolerance is to be adhered to working on the railway and candidates cannot turn up under the influence of alcohol.
