Heavy Machinery Operator

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We currently have opportunities for experienced Machine/Plant Operators to join our team in our Shap Pink Quarry, Shap. The successful candidates will form part of the existing team who are responsible for the production plant, and responsibilities will include operating large, quarry machinery such as articulated dump trucks, front end loading shovels, 360 excavators and feeding the crushers and screeners.

Requirements:

• Experience of working in a similar role within the Industry
• Being able to work as part of a team, but with the ability to use own initiative
• Take ownership of your own job role and responsibilities
• Exceptional communicative skills and interpersonal skills
• A Flexible approach to work

Pay and Benefits Package for a Machine/Plant Operator

• Salary dependent on experience **TBC at interview**
• Company Pension Scheme
• In-house training will be given but we expect industry experience.
• Holidays: 20 days per annum plus Bank Holidays
• Long-term Security within a family business.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £12.00 per hour
