Part-time Bookkeeper

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We need a reliable and experienced bookkeeper who is able to join the business and hit the ground running. You will enjoy the responsibility of working in a broad and varied role where your work is of real value. You will have excellent communication skills and be a supportive team player but happy to work using your own initiative.

Responsibilities:

• Sales Ledger
• Purchase Ledger
• Bank Reconciliation
• Monthly Payroll
• CIS Returns
• Quarterly VAT Returns
• Administration of Labour Diary & Build Projects

Skills:

• Excellent technology skills; proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint) and XERO

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 - 30 per week

Salary: £15.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Northampton: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
• bookkeeping: 1 year (required)
