Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a Full Time Passenger Assistant to accompany children on various school journeys. This is a Full Time but term time only position.

Flexibility is important as start and finish times do vary most days.

As a Passenge Assistant you should have good people skills, a mature attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team. You will be responsible for playing a vital role in supporting vulnerable children and adults in their journey. You should be able to communicate well, show patience and empathy towards passengers with a variety of different needs and requirements. The role includes helping passengers getting in and out of the vehicle and securing baggage before each journey. You will work with different drivers on different routes and other passenger assistants, team work is a key aspect of this role. Training will be provided.

All employees are required to hold or complete a DBS check prior to their offer of employment which will be arranged at the point of interview / job offer.

Rate of pay £10.50 per hour, 28 days holiday per year pro rata, company uniform and optional company pension scheme.
