Store person / Stock controller

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Cable-Tec Cables and Controls Ltd are now looking for a Stores Person / Stock Controller to begin work immediately, and join our busy team, working from our Sutton in Ashfield depot at NG17 5HN.

• This is a FULL TIME role

This position will be permanent after an initial trial, and involve the control and ordering of stock and parts for the assembly of mechanical control cables.

Experience would be beneficial, but we appreciate that it is unlikely that you will have worked within our industry, as it is a very niche area of mechanical engineering, therefore ALL TRAINING WILL BE GIVEN, no previous experience is necessary, however a 'mechanical mind' and 'hands on' outlook would help considerably.

Hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 08.00 -17.00 and Friday 08.00 to 15.00.

Training and a general knowledge of the software 'CIM50' would be a benefit.

You will be responsible to the Depot Supervisor.
Own transport essential.

The position will be offered initially on a 3 month trial basis, and if successful, the role will become permanent / subject to our usual terms of employment.
