Role Overview & Responsibilities
Our food is a major part of the service we offer to our 30 residents, and we are proud of its quality.
Prepared fresh on-site each day, our meals contribute to our client's feeling of health and well-being.
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and organized individual with great attention to detail to join our small catering team
Duties:
- Prepare, cook, and present excellent food in accordance with the menu and the requirements of our customers.
- Always adhere to safety and hygiene regulations.
- Maintain the high levels of cleanliness expected in a five-star rated kitchen.
- Order and manage stock.

- Sector leading rate of pay £10.00 - £11.00 depending on experience.
- A permanent Part-time contract of 6 hrs a day from Monday to Friday (30hrs a week).

Experience/Qualities/Skills:
- Experience of working in a care home kitchen environment
- Qualified to a minimum of level 2 in hospitality/catering or equivalent
- Strong interpersonal and working relationship skills.
- The ability to carry out effective shift handovers.
- Competent in completing essential paperwork relevant to health and safety.

Salary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour

Experience:
- cooking: 2 years (preferred)
- in a care home or nursing home: 1 year (required)
