PPT Driver

PPT Driver, £10.69 an hr, role arose due to the growth of the company. Company with an excellent reputation in their industry. Location South Elmsall, easily accessible from Doncaster, Barnsley, and Wakefield.

This is a unique opportunity to work for an Automotive company in the inspection team, as well as holding at PPT licence (can be in house) you will also need to hold a driving licence to as you will be needed to drive vehicles in and out of the workshop once inspections have been completed

NO PREVIOUS experience is required however you must have a keen eye for details and be able to follow company procedures fully.

We would welcome people to apply that have worked with warehousing, quality or have an interest in vehicles in general.

The key duties of the PPT Driver role would be:

• Check manufactured vehicle bodies to ensure they meet company requirements
• Complete tail lift weight tests
• Ensuring a high level of quality standards are implemented and maintained
• To carry out inspections of all components and machined parts by proactively engaging with all aspects of the manufacturing process to ensure that quality standards and customer requirements are met at all times
• Be responsible for general housekeeping in the Quality/Inspection department
• Flag up all technical issues internally or externally to ensure that they are addressed promptly and that clients and colleagues are kept informed of progress
