Production/Warehouse Operative

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for a team member to expand our Warehouse and Manufacturing Department.

The main warehouse duties are inspecting, picking and packing goods.

Occasional manufacturing duties include producing goods from works orders.

Express Electrical & Engineering Supplies Ltd. is a family business established in 1985. We are primarily an Electrical Distributor with some manufacturing capability focused around labelling and identification products.

We currently manufacture products that are sympathetic to our distribution business. Printed vinyl signs and labels, Laser Engraved Labels, Wire markers, Stainless Steel labels and tags, Rolls of printable coloured Vinyl and cable assemblies.

We have the following machinery;

• HP 570 Latex Wide Format Printer and Cutter
• Laminator
• Robart Vinyl Roll Slitting Machine
• 3 x Epilog Co2 Lasers
• 1 x 100w Galvo Fibre Laser
• Eubanks Cut and Strip Machine
• Several CAB Thermal Transfer Printers
• Embossing Machine

Experience of machinery similar to the above and the following software used in our production department would be helpful but not essential.

• SAi Flexi Print and Cut
• Corel Draw
• BarTender

Independent problem solving, self motivation, initiative, and flexibility are vital in a small business like ours.

Numeracy and literacy is essential, you should be competent with using Microsoft Excel as we use this a lot to manipulate customers data before importing to production software.

We are looking for someone that is confident and competent and wants to become a valued member of the team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £20,000.00 per year
