Role Overview & Responsibilities

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to join our fast-paced and passionate design team at the home of the UK's fastest growing general merchandise wholesaler.

We are searching for an illustrator that has a keen eye for design and has a passion for product packaging and pattern design and development to assist with our ever-growing product range.

Key Responsibilities

• Create surface pattern concepts for various items
• Produce high quality packaging design concepts / branding ideas
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure artwork is accurate
• Communicate with the buying team and agree on design concepts
• Produce social media and web ready graphics
• Produce brochures, leaflets and flyers
• Lifestyle photography for all various products

Skills & Competencyrequirements

• Advanced drawing and typography skills including ability produce original artwork / drawings.
• Fully competent in Adobe illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign.
• Excellent layout skills.
• Extensive print knowledge
• Advanced photography skills
• Highly creative, enthusiastic and innovative
• Ability to manage workload and work in a fast pace environment
• Confidence to work independently and part of a team
• High attention to detail
• Experience of designing products for retail
• Produce print ready artworks
• Photography skills would be a desirable but not essential

Education and Experience:
We are ideally looking for a candidate with 5 Year’s experience in a similar role.
The ideal candidate would have a BA (Hons) degree in relevant design based subject.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £23,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
