Our Cafes are renowned for our brunches and our Upper Newtownards road venue always has a great atmosphere to accompany our tasty menu.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking to hire Chef de Parties to join our team at the East Belfast site

Job title – Chef de Partie

Salary – £11.50 p/h negotiable depending on experience

Who we are looking for

Our ideal candidate should have previous experience at a similar level and have an enthusiastic approach to working within a professional kitchen.

You must be able to work early mornings and weekends, our wage structure is based on hours worked and is paid on a weekly basis

We are extremely busy throughout the week, as we grow and continue to push boundaries in the café culture within Belfast and across NI – you will be joining a fantastic team that you will help lead through innovative menus and ideas.

Main Duties/ Responsibilities

• Ensure meals are produced on time, with sufficient quantities/ portions for various areas
• Ensure all food is prepared in line with food safety regulations and requirements
• Maintain stock levels for all kitchen mise en place
• Work with your superior chefs in providing staff feedback & enable staff development
• Minimise food wastage through stock rotation and maintain thorough food prep methods
• Adhere to all food, health & safety guidelines to prevent food loss
• Helping with stock ordering and stock levels of individual sections
• Assist team in kitchen cleaning at end of shift

• Qualified Chef
• Demonstrable experience and success in similar job roles
• Punctual, organised and trustworthy
• Experience in working with staff and motivating other team members
• Attention to detail
• Problem solver and ability to think on your feet
• Open to new culinary ideas and trends
