Assistant Family Support Worker – Family Support Service

Play a supporting role in helping the county’s most vulnerable children
In our Children’s Services Department, there's a real commitment to improving outcomes for children and their families. We also regard staff support, regular supervision and staff development as priorities.
Working in the Family Support Service you will deliver direct work with children and families with both additional and complex support needs.

The main focus of the Assistant Family Support Worker role is providing support to parents in developing their parenting skills and support with and promotion of our level 2 offer.
You will also have a knowledge and understanding of both the Family Support Service and the Early Help Hub.
