Skilled and Unskilled Production Operatives

Role Overview & Responsibilities

All applicants must have the right to work in the UK and have a basic level of English to allow compliance with our Health and Safety requirements. Interviews are held on a face to face basis.

We are seeking both skilled and unskilled workers, alongside Apprentices, to train as multi-skilled operators in all aspects of our bed making operations. Previous experience in the furniture manufacture or upholstery business would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be offered.

We operate a 39 hour week

Day Shift - Monday to Thursday, 6.30am to 4.45pm with optional overtime hours often available on Fridays/Saturdays.

Starting Salary: £10.20 per hour day shift / £11.22 per hour nights

Rising to £11.20 per hour on completion of probation with potential to earn up to £4.00 per hour performance bonus on completion of training. Higher rates are available for skilled upholsterers and tape edgers.
