Part time Cook

We are looking for a Cook to support one of our Residential Homes in Leicester LE5 area.

Contract: 15 hours a week, permanent contract. 3 days week 1 and 4 days week 2

Salary: £10.90 working at our Orchard Court working 15 hours a week.

Key responsibilities:

• Washing and clearing pots

• Prepping food before cooking such as cutting up veg etc.

• Cleaning the kitchen area and ensuring they comply with food safety regulations

• Following residents dietary requirements

• Following residents cultural requirements

• Serving food to residents in the dining room so they will have some interaction with them

• Be able to bake a cake/crumble

• Ideally someone who has some experience in a care setting would be best but otherwise being understanding of mental health would be good too

• They need to understand food safety regulations and adhere to these

• Experience in the kitchen would be ideal
