Delivery Driver

Role Overview & Responsibilities

**Weekend Availability** Part Time/Full Time

We are a well established wholesaler, supplying local and international food products to commercial customers in Glasgow and surrounding areas.

We are looking to recruit a delivery driver for weekend shifts on a permanent basis (Saturdays & Sundays), and also flexible to chat additional shifts if required.

You will have experience with multi-drop deliveries, and have good knowledge of Glasgow and Greater Glasgow areas. As this is a customer facing role, and you will be representing the Company, we are looking for friendly and engaging individuals with excellent communication skills. Our core working hours are 8am - 4pm with flexible finish times!

Your roles and responsibilities:

• Driving long wheel based vans with up to 20 drops
• Warehouse picking in the morning
• Manual lifting up to 25kg
• Adhering to Company policies and procedures at all times
• Adhering to the route that has been pre planned
• Money handling

What we would like from you:

• Hold a UK driving license for at least 2 years
• Clean driving license preferred (Max 3 points)
• Ability to work within a team as well as on your own
• Punctual, reliable with strong work ethics
• Accuracy with good attention to detail
• Ability to take and adapt to instructions
• Ability to manage workload
• Physically fit and healthy due to the nature of the role

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: £85.00 per day

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Weekends only

Experience:

• Delivery driver experience: 1 year (preferred)
• Driving: 2 years (preferred)
