Role Overview & Responsibilities

An nationally recognised, award winning farm shop, Ludlow Farmshop is located just outside the market town of Ludlow, in the beautiful Shropshire countryside. Part of the Earl of Plymouth's estate. Ludlow Farmshop supports traditional production methods, with six departments making great tasting products, such as cheese, ice cream, coffee, pastries, cakes, biscuits, jams and pickles, as well as a famous Butchery department. Using as much produce from our own estate, we also support other local suppliers, who have the same ethos as us. Coupled with a focus on reducing the impact of what we do on the environment, Ludlow Farmshop has an excellent reputation for quality products, which you cannot buy elsewhere.

The customer's experience is important to us. Whether it be at Ludlow Kitchen, our cafe, The Clive Arms, our hotel or Ludlow Farmshop, our farm shop, we need people with a passion for food, who can tell the story of what we do, to inspire customers.

Ludlow Kitchen is an extremely busy lunchtime venue. We are looking for customer service focused people, to ensure all our customers have a great experience at our cafe. From meeting the customer at the door, taking orders, serving food & drinks and saying goodbye, our Front of House team make the difference. It is hard work but fun too. We offer a variety of shifts and hours to suit many personal needs.

Salary is based on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract
Part-time hours: 16-39 per week

Salary: £5.28-£10.42 per hour
