Kitchen Assistant - Potato Prep

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for a reliable person with a mature mindset to join our hardworking team at the Olympus Restaurant. We are committed to providing high-quality food to our customers and the potato prep is paramount to that.

The following tasks will be carried out as part of this role:
- Rumbling potatoes
- Eyeing potatoes
- Chipping potatoes
- Cleaning equipment before and after use
- Keeping workstation clean and tidy
- General cleaning duties

The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:
- Able to take instructions and follow them. Our method of potato prep is important to maintain the high-quality food that we provide.
- Able to lift 25kg sacks of potatoes
- Will follow food hygiene & safety regulations
- Punctual, reliable, honest and trustworthy
- Takes constructive criticism to enhance their work
- Has a positive attitude to work and learning

Working hours are between 8.00am and 11.00am. This role would suit someone who would like a part-time position of around 16 hours per week.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-20 per week

Salary: From £10.50 per hour
