Shop Assistant Manager

Role Overview & Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are currently recruiting for full time Assistant Manager to join our Fisher Street Shop, Carlisle.

THE RESPONSBILITIES

Day to day running of the shop alongside the Manager.

Cashing up & setting of alarms at the end of days trading.

Filling in all paperwork and placing orders.

Controlling a busy Deli and Hot Counter.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Desirable requirements

· A friendly outlook and an understanding of the importance of customer service.

· Experience of working in a customer facing role is preferable but not essential however candidates should be willing to learn, flexible and adaptable

· Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment

· Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude

· Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts to meet the business needs

· Experience in Deli or catering environment would be preferred

Hours of work are 40 per week, Tuesday to Saturday.
