Trainee Print Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

ProAmpac Lincoln Ltd., part of a fast-growing international packaging manufacturing group, are looking to recruit a Trainee Print Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis. Previous flexographic print experience is desirable but not essential.

You will enjoy a 4 day working week, working continental shifts:

2 days (7am – 7pm)

2 nights (7pm – 7am)

4 days off

An annual take home wage of £23,215 to £27,300, depending on experience – overtime at time and a half is also available

As a Trainee Print Assistant, you will be responsible for the following:

· Working in a fast-paced production environment assisting the Flexographic Printer with daily operations of the printing press

· Assisting the printers in keeping the press area hygiene to audit standards

· Collecting inks from the ink stores to prepare the printing presses

· Loading presses with film

· Ensuring inks and solvents are topped up
