Role Overview & Responsibilities

About the role:
This role is for a software tester who would like to join a fast-growing technology company aiming to take a lead role in developing modern cutting-edge web and mobile applications. We are looking for someone who pays attention to details and ambitious to develop further.

It is a full time role offering flexibility to work on-site and from home on certain days. You must be in the UK and eligible to work.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and document test plans for software systems.
• Create top notch merits and validation methods.
• Recommend best practices pretaining software or system efficiency.
• Perform Functional Testing such as Regression testing, and System Testing.
• Test the the inconsistencies, identify the trouble, identifies sources of problems, and advise the solutions in software and systems.
• Examines IT systems for potential threats to their security and integrity.
• Conduct critical reviews of functional requirements
• Ensure that software requirements are well-understood and acceptance criteria is defined
• Support in the resolution of bugs in a software.
• Ensure agreed processes for software testing and development are being followed

Skills & Experience:

• Degree in Computer Science or related subject
• Good experience in system testing
• Good experience in software security testing
• Good analytical skills for quality assurance
• Solid understanding of security best practices
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Experience software testing in an Agile environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
