Role Overview & Responsibilities
Location: Remote with travel to London once a month
Salary: £37,000 - £45,000 DOE
Hours: 37.5
Based in the Content team this position plays a key role in a rapidly expanding group of eCommerce businesses. Working closely with the Head of Content and Group SEO Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating our on-site SEO strategy.
You and your role
As well as being a great commercial copywriter, you’ll have a head for data and love to analyse the impact of the work you do. You’ll also have an in-depth knowledge and experience of delivering customer-first SEO growth.
- Identifying commercial content opportunities
- Writing and editing SEO web copy for both sales and engagement
- Writing data-driven content pieces that can be used for SEO
- Working with the wider content team to make sure content is on-brand
- Reporting and analysis of key performance indicators for the website using Google Analytics, keyword tracking tools and other web-tracking software
- Editing and uploading web content with accuracy using a CMS
- Supporting SEO Manager with the implementation of the SEO strategy.
About you
- You will have a customer-first approach to SEO
- Experienced in keyword research and able to use tools such as google search console, google analytics and keyword tracking software
- Experienced in creating and editing landing pages for SEO
- Ability to interpret data and turn it into a story to be used for SEO
- In depth knowledge of internal linking best practices
- Passion for SEO content writing with meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience in using SEO to drive revenue and have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in website management
- Experience in financial services or financially regulated businesses is desired, but not essential
