Full Time Warehouse Assistant - Fixed Term

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are on the lookout for a Warehouse Operative to work with our team in London on a fixed-term basis. You will be joining a friendly and tight-knit team who are based in our South Bermondsey branch.

About Us

This is a busy and exciting time, and for the company, which is growing constantly with branches in from our bases in London and Manchester. Due to our continued expansion, we are looking for hardworking and dedicated individuals to join our experienced team based our depot in South-East London.

Warehouse Operative

Duties include:

· To work alongside our warehouse manager and warehouse team to assist with the safe loading, storing, and stock selection duties to prepare for our kit to be sent to site.

· Assisting in the safe loading and unloading of Steeldeck fleet vehicles and vehicles sent by customers or logistics partners.

· Assist in preparing kit lists for projects, ready for the stock to be transported to site.

· Stock maintenance and checks.

· Taking a proactive approach to health and safety by keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and safe.

Person specification

· Flexibility, good communication skills and being able to work independently and as a part of a team are critical.

· Forklift driving experience with relevant tickets is essential.

· Carpentry skills and full driving licence are desirable but not essential.

· An understating of health and safety and safe working practices.

Salary: £11.95-£15.00 per hour
