As a Kitchen Assistant, your duties will include:
- To help co-ordinate the preperation and serving of meals within the setting
- To help the cook maintain hygeine within the kitchen area
- To ensure that food hygiene certificates are kept up to date and attend courses to continue development of professional knowledge of hygiene, Health & Safety.
- To maintain high standards of personal hygiene and personal appearance in accordance with the nursery hygiene policy.
- To deep clean kitchen following procedures on a regular basis
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will join our long-standing, experienced teams to deliver every day with passion. As part of our mission to create a better world, we provide settings optimised for children to learn, explore and be happy.
This nursery predominantly caters to staff and students of Manchester University, providing childcare for children aged 12 weeks to 5 years. We are conveniently located within close distance to motorway links and just 10 minutes’ walk from Manchester University and Oxford Road.
