Front of House Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Trethorne Leisure Park is a popular family attraction that has developed over the last 30 years from a working farm into a successful leisure park entertaining thousands of customers every year in our large indoor and outdoor play areas. Separately we also have a ten-pin bowling alley, dodgems, and games arcade where food is served daily. We are renowned for our Sunday carvery and for catering for large functions, events, and conferences.

We are looking for a bright, hardworking, and positive individual to join our front of house team.

Mainly working weekends this role will involve:

o Greeting and serving customers drinks and snacks from the bar

o Taking food and drink orders and serving it to customers

o Keeping the bar area clean and tidy

o Clearing tables and cleaning down after customers

o Replenishing bar stock

o Taking bowling bookings and setting up lanes for customers

o Overseeing the amusements arcade and operating the dodgems

o Waiting large functions and events

o Liaising with the kitchen team regarding food orders

You will need to have a genuine passion for great customer service and enjoy working as part of a team. The ability to work in a demanding and very busy environment is necessary in this role.

Extra hours will be available some evenings and during busy periods such as school holidays.

Previous experience working behind a bar is preferred but not essential.

Salary: £7.50-£11.50 per hour

• Launceston: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Barista experience: 1 year (preferred)
• Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
• customer service: 1 year (preferred)
